Canadian musician Nick James Beaton releases first single DANCING IN THE SHADOWS. Hailing from Ottawa Nick has performed on stages across Canada as lead guitarist for the acclaimed rock-pop band Autumns Cannon. After more than twenty years as a collaborator, Nick is stepping in the spotlight with the anticipated release of his first EP “Transitions” in the summer of 2024.
“I wrote this song in early 2021 during a time of great uncertainty and personal change. Initially serving as a form of therapeutic release, through focus and dedication the memoir became music.”
The track was co-produced and engineered by Ottawa veterans Bryan Ruckstuhl and Ken Friesen. The track also features Davide Direnzo (Tom Cochrane) on drums and John Dymond (Blackie and the Rodeo Kings) on bass guitar.
